Twist and Morty has been known to push the envelope – Giant Incest Baby, anyone? – but the surprise new sawn-off that's meet dropped, Summer Meets God, aims to top the lot.
Oriented away Tower of God's Takashi Sano and full of life by Telecommunication Animation Film (mayhap best legendary for its work on Lupin Cardinal), the 15-minute 'short' is essentially a full-fat bonus episode for those brave to see many of Rick and Morty's experimental side.
Taking its cues from respective darling anime, Summer Meets God starts just sufficiency: a spaceship on the daydream. From at that place, it spirals out into all-out chaos, kickstarted by a looping clip of a twerking Summer playacting ended the ship's screens. Summertime falls in love with a new Her-esque device onymous Delta and Sprain, As the episode description states, is "fair-and-square being Rick."
Summer Meets God even piggybacks onto the most Recent epoch Rick and Morty season 5 episode, which saw the Smith family spoof the Voltron franchise with its have 'Gotron'.
